Oh, Happy Day

We made it. We can breathe again. Four years of chaos and corruption, four years of lies, bigotry, hatred, cruelty, and incompetence, four years that seemed interminable, are finally behind us. We won't have to look at Donald Trump's face, or listen to his lies, any longer. He leaves the White House diminished, disgraced, twitterless. The royal crime family and the inner circle of clowns and grifters, have left the building. America dodged a howitzer. The good guys won.

Joe Biden is President. A decent, honest, empathetic man. A man experienced in governance. A man who believes in equal justice for all. Kamala Harris is Vice President. The first woman VP. The first black VP. The first Asian VP. History was made. Today begins a new era. A time of healing, unity, truth and equality. Democracy has prevailed. We celebrate one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
